Flint Rep reinvents the classic musical. With a fresh new rewrite by book writer and lyricist Tom Jones, in collaboration with director Michael Lluberes, the young lovers at the center of the story are re-imagined as two young men. The Fantasticks is a funny and beautiful allegory about falling in love and growing up. We couldn’t be more excited to share this new interpretation of the longest-running musical in history.

The Nutcracker

The spirit of the Nutcracker Ballet has added a touch of magic to family holidays for over 40 years. Each performance dazzles with sparkling sets and elegant, colorful costumes, and live music from the Flint Symphony Orchestra led by guest Conductor, Timothy Muffitt. Internationally renowned ballerina Ashley Murphy-Wilson will reprise her role of Sugar Plum Fairy and is joined by dancers from the Flint School of Performing Arts.

The Clark Sisters

The Clark Sisters are an American gospel vocal group consisting of four sisters: Jacky Clark Chisholm, Elbernita “Twinkie” Clark-Terrell, Dorinda Clark-Cole and Karen Clark Sheard. They are the daughters of gospel musician and choral director Mattie Moss Clark. They are credited for helping to bring gospel music to the mainstream and are considered as pioneers of contemporary gospel. Join us as they sing holiday favorites and more!

Joy, merriment and holiday spirits soar as the FSO is led by guest conductor, Damien Sneed, and joined by Choir Director, Jeffrey LaValley, and special guests, Dottie Jones, Twinkie Clark and Flint’s own, Roger Jones & Higher Calling Band. The musical traditions of the season and our community’s diverse cultural heritage are celebrated in this multi-genre presentation that will warm hears and inspire unforgettable memories!
