Flint, Mich. – The Whiting is entering the streaming entertainment arena with Broadway HD, or as the Whiting is calling it, Broadway During Intermission.  It’s a streaming service for theater fans who want to watch their choice of Broadway shows anywhere on any device.


For a limited time, current Whiting patrons, Genesee County residents and even those outside the county will have special access to a trial subscription. McLaren Health System is sponsoring the streaming service.


The Whiting has exclusive subscription pricing for Broadway During Intermission, including a free three-month trial for current Whiting season subscribers, and three months for the price of one for Genesee county residents. Out-of-county subscribers will receive three months for the price of two. Each month is worth $8.99. The promotion will end November 10 and the number of subscriptions is limited. People are encouraged to sign up early.  


New releases come out every month, from Shakespeare productions to Tony Award-winning blockbusters. The shows are advertisement-free. Some examples of what’s on Broadway During Intermission include:
