FLINT, Mich. – The Whiting is proud to announce a digital streaming event for the community to celebrate the Irish American Heritage month of March: Ireland with Michael – A Virtual Concert.
This event will be March 17 at 7 p.m. only. Tickets can be purchased March
17 for $25 (event only), $35 (event plus signed souvenir) or $50 (event, signed souvenir and Zoom with Michael at thewhiting.com). Proceeds benefit The Whiting, which has been closed to in-person shows for almost a year.
Top Irish tenor Michael Londra shares his own connection to songs and stories of his home country, and his love of traditional music, all while backed by the Irish Concert Orchestra and two nationally acclaimed choirs – Valda Choir and The Presentation Children’s Choir. The 10-piece Harpist group, Cláirsí Neamhaí, also performs with local fiddlers and pipers playing jigs and reels that are perfect to celebrate Irish heritage. The Celtic show is performed from the National Opera House of Ireland.
